Toy Run Report

The food and toy run to benefit the upper Skagit folks was a great success. We had 19 very soggy bikers, total of 55 people who managed to fill several SUV’s with food and toys as well as raise $1500+ in cash. Thanks to everyone who came out! If you were not able to make it this year, save a spot on your calendar mid-October 2010.

Morning Star Riders monthly meeting

Monthly dinner meeting for the Morning Star Riders will be Oct 22.
Start time 6:30pm at the Denny’s off College Way in Mount Vernon (that is WA for those out of the area!) Everyone is welcome!

Upper Skagit Food & Toy Run

Upper Skagit Food and Toy Run this Saturday, rain or shine people are hungry even when it rains.

Starts at Skagit HD in Burlington.
Finishes at Howard Miller Steelhead Park in Rockport

Start time 10:30am, October 17
Bring non-perishable food, toys (unwrapped,) prizes for raffle ($10-$25 value,) Cash for a love offering

If you can’t ride, come anyway, four wheels are just as welcome as two!

Benefits the communities East of Concrete where there is no food bank. Organized by local motorcyclists of Skagit County.

POW/MIA Ride Report

The POW/MIA ride on Whidbey Island September 18 was great. Approximately 115 motorcycles made the circuit from the Chiefs Club to Clinton, Keystone and back to Oak Harbor Seaplane Base. Thanks to all who were able to attend, hope to see you again next year the third Friday in September.
